I'm using Lightroom 3 which directly uploads images to Facebook. Pretty handy. Kind of wishing that same feature could be created for Squarespace. Here's an image from a recent engagement shoot that we did at Torrey Pines State Park in La Jolla. The couple was dressed up, but they hike at this spot often so we (they) were walking in dress clothes for the shoot. I like this image below because of the dirt and the "dress". Was going to post this on Facebook and still will, but I thought I should put it here first.

Back in the video game
Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 2:30AM So here's a quick video piece I did on Jerry Garns, a commercial photographer here in LA. He typically does product and quite a bit of automotive but this particular video segment documented a portrait shoot of some musicians and actors for an upcoming play at a theater in Thousand Oaks.
I had just finished shooting some interiors one day in Valencia when Jerry called and asked if I could come to this shoot last minute, which I promptly said yes to. While helping with lights and some general assisting, I proposed the idea of shooting some video from my 7D and he said sure. This is all hand held, shot with my 1.8 50mm, with the in-camera mic. I edited the video in FCP and put a piece of original music to it, that I created in Garageband.
I'm looking forward to creating more.

Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 11:05PM Recently photographed a unique game show style event called Click! brilliantly produced by Bob Krause of Ignite Production Group. Money and awareness were raised at the Del Mar Surfside Race Place for the CA Bipolar Foundation, a well connected organization dedicated to research, support and education of those with Bipolar Disorder.
This event hit home as I know some who are affected by this disorder. Such a great event and visually was fun to capture. See the slideshow here.
